Chariot to QBO Data Sync (one-way sync):
Our integration facilitates a one-way sync from Chariot to QBO. As you progress through jobs and transactions in Chariot, corresponding data is transferred to your QBO account. It's important to note that any records added directly to QBO won't reflect in the Chariot system.
Syncing Frequency Options:
Daily Sync:
Each night, all jobs moved to the "Completed Closed" status in Chariot are automatically synchronized with QBO.
Job Completion:
Instantly sync relevant job details with QBO as soon as a job's status is updated to "Completed-Closed" in Chariot.
Payment Received:
Payments received and logged in Chariot are synchronized with the respective customer's name and invoice in QBO.
Getting Started:
To initiate the integration process, follow these steps:
Provide Account Information:
Share details for the following:
Income Account
Receivables Account
Refund Account.
Example: "income_account_name": "Billable Expense Income".
Choose Integration Start Date:
Specify the date you'd like the integration to commence, even if it's in the past
Provide Details from Step 1 and Step 2 to Chariot Support
We'll use this information to complete the setup.
Toggle Integration Setting:
We'll activate the integration setting on our end.
You'll hear from Chariot Support once the setup is complete on our end.
Integration Setup (After Activation):
Once the integration is activated:
In Chariot, navigate to Settings → Integrations.
Connect to QuickBooks:
Log in with your QuickBooks credentials.
Sync Charges and Jobs:
Click "Sync Charges with QuickBooks" followed by "Sync Jobs and Payments with QuickBooks".
Wait for Sync:
Allow time for data transfer (up to 30 minutes).
