Saved Dashboard Views: Some Ideas to Get You Started

Updated over 11 months ago

In Chariot, you can personalize how you view your leads, jobs, and archives pages. This feature allows you to save different filters, sorts, and organizations, making it easier to access and analyze the information the way that works best for you. Here are some ideas to get you started, along with practical examples to inspire you to experiment with this feature.

Check out How to Utilize Leads and Dashobard Views in Chariot for a more in-depth "how to" about how this feature works.

Creating Your Default View

By default, Chariot provides a standard view. However, you can customize this to better suit your needs:

  1. Sort by Date: If you want your leads table to display the most imminent events first, you can sort by date.

    • Go to your leads page.

    • Click on Add View.

    • Name your view, e.g., "My Default".

    • Sort the leads by date.

    • Save and set it as your default view.

Example Saved Views for Salespeople

Personal Lead Management

  1. Leads by Move Date:

    • Filter leads by your name as the sales owner.

    • Sort them by move date.

    • Save this view to quickly access all your leads sorted by when the moves are scheduled.

Tracking Unsent Estimates

  1. Oldest Leads with No Estimates Sent:

    • Filter the stage to include "Form Submitted", "Intake in Progress", and "Intake Complete".

    • Sort by the created date to see how long these leads have been in the system without an estimate.

    • This helps identify stale leads that need attention.

High-Value Opportunities

  1. Biggest Sales with No Estimate:

    • Filter stages similar to the previous example.

    • Sort by estimated price to focus on high-value leads that haven't received an estimate.

Reserved but Unbooked Leads

  1. My Reserved Leads:

    • Filter by your leads and those marked as reserved.

    • This helps track leads that are reserved but not yet booked.

Filtering by Move Size

  1. Large Moves:

    • Set a filter for estimated price over $1,000.

    • Conversely, you can filter for smaller moves under $500 or $1,000 to find gaps to fill in your schedule.

Customizing Your View Layout

  1. Pinning Columns:

    • You can pin important columns, such as the owner or tags, to the right side for easy access even on smaller screens.

    • Click the three dots on the column header and select Pin to Right.

  2. Using Tags for Quick Identification:

    • Tags can be pinned or used in filters to quickly identify specific types of leads or jobs.

    • For instance, tagging jobs with "claim" and filtering by this tag can help manage claims even though Chariot doesn't have a dedicated claims management feature yet.

Using Views for Job Management

  1. Claims Tracking:

    • Create a view to filter jobs that have a tag with "claim".

    • This can help you track all jobs with ongoing or completed claims efficiently.
