Updated over 10 months ago

Getting Started

  1. Open the Crew App: Begin by launching the Chariot Crew app on your device.

  2. Click the Clock Icon: This is the entry point for time tracking. Click the clock icon to start the process.

Setting Up Your Crew and Trucks

  1. Confirm Crew Members and Trucks: If your crew and trucks are pre-dispatched via the job schedule, they will automatically appear. If not, you can manually add them by:

    • Clicking on "plus crew member" or "plus truck"

    • Inputting the crew members and trucks for the day’s job.

  2. Set the Hourly Rate: This rate will be used later to calculate costs on the bill of lading. For example, you might input an hourly rate of $190.

Starting the Activity

  1. Select Start Activity: Confirm the start activity for the move. This will log the start time automatically but can be adjusted if needed.

  2. Customize Activities: You can log various activities such as breaks, driving, and crew changes. These can be customized to fit your specific needs and can be marked as billable or non-billable.

Managing the Bill of Lading

  1. Automatic Logging: Work times and hourly charges are automatically inputted into the bill of lading as activities are logged.

  2. End Tracking: Confirm the end time for the move to finalize the bill of lading calculation.

Notes

  • Customization Required: Initial setup may require customization to fit your specific operation needs.

  • Manual Adjustments: While times are logged automatically, manual adjustments might be necessary.

  • Dependent on Accurate Input: Ensure all crew members and trucks are accurately inputted to avoid billing errors.

With these steps, managing your crew’s time and activities using the Chariot Crew app becomes straightforward and efficient. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support team. Happy tracking!
