Why Clear Out Old Leads?
Clearing out old leads ensures that the leads displayed on the left-hand side of your Chariot dashboard accurately represent your current sales process. This helps your sales team focus on active opportunities and improves overall efficiency.
How to Clear Out Old Leads
Here's a step-by-step guide to clearing out old leads in Chariot:
Navigate to the Leads Page
Go to the leads page in Chariot where you can view all your leads.
Filter Leads by Date
Filter your leads by date to identify the oldest jobs first.
Hover over the date field to apply the filter.
Review Old Leads
Expand the list to see more details of the old jobs.
Evaluate whether these leads are still relevant or if they need to be cleared out.
Update Lead Status Individually
Click into each job either through the quick view or the job itself.
Update the stage to either:
Lost: If you had the opportunity to win the job but didn’t.
Disqualified: If you never had a chance to win the job (e.g., it was a service you didn’t provide, or you were already booked on the job date).
This method is thorough but can be time-consuming if you have many leads to process.
Bulk Update Lead Status
For a faster approach, use the bulk update feature:
Click the checkbox in the top left to select all leads on the current page.
Click on "Bulk Actions" and choose "Update Stage To" then select either "Lost" or "Disqualified."
Alternatively, you can:
Individually select multiple leads by holding down the shift key and clicking checkboxes for a range of leads.
Use the "Bulk Actions" to update their status collectively.
