Managing Inventory of a Storage Job

How to add photos, notes, and documents (inventory sheets, etc.)

Quick Context

  • Each storage job has an “Inventory” tab. This is where you’re meant to include information about the items that are in storage, photos, LOT / tape details, etc.

  • Today, Chariot doesn’t have detailed storage inventory tracking (think: a table of each item with condition codes, tracking of their location over time throughout the warehouse). We’ll add that in the future, and storage inventory items will become associated with specific storage locations.

  • For now, Chariot allows you to upload relevant documents (e.g., descriptive inventory), photos (e.g., photo of items, photo of paper description on vault), and notes (e.g., describing what items are in each vault, special instructions, etc.).
