How are Leads handled?

There are three ways to collect a lead in Check Cherry:

  1. Manually enter it by clicking Create New in the upper right corner, then select Lead.

  2. Collected when a lead fills out one of your Check Cherry lead forms.

  3. Collected when a client starts to book online but does not complete a booking.

Where can I find my leads?

Leads are displayed on the Leads page, which is accessed by clicking Sales --> Leads. By default, only active leads that have not been converted to a proposal or booking are shown, but using the filters in the left sidebar, you can display archived, converted or spam leads.

Each lead card displays important information about the lead, including:

  • Brand that the lead belongs to

  • Date(s) of the event(s)

  • Name of the client

  • Package(s) selected

  • Address of the venue, if given

  • Booking source (online booking, lead form, manually entered)

  • Date created


What does the Actions button do?

The Actions button on each lead has multiple options:

  • Edit lead

  • Flag as spam

  • Disable automated messages

  • Archive lead

  • Delete lead

  • Add note

  • Create appointment

  • Set to: choose a status, based on the various lead status you have created.

  • Link to continue booking (generates a url that you can send to the lead that will take them back to continue booking where they left off)

What does the Convert button do?

The convert button on a lead allows you to change a lead to a proposal or booking.

  • Convert to Proposal (date open)

  • Convert to Proposal (date reserved)

  • Convert to Booking (confirmed)

What does the Messages button do?

The messages button gives you access to the messaging options for the lead:

  • Send a new automated message

  • Send a new manual message

  • Go to the Message history for the lead


Lead details page

The Lead details page shows all the information about the Lead, including:

  • Contact info

  • Package details (if the lead chose a package)

  • Venue (if a location was entered)

  • Notes

  • Tools:

    • Date & time the lead was created

    • Origin (lead form, online booking, etc)

    • Lead form (if one was used, the specific form that was filled out)

    • IP address

  • Estimate (estimated total for the booking including discounts/surcharges)

  • Availability (shows if you have any conflicting events already scheduled)

  • Also On <Date chosen for the event> (other bookings & proposals on this date)
