Travel zones explained

Travel zones are essentially areas on a map where you can charge travel fees. The starting point of each travel zone will default to your business address as set in Manage --> Business Settings --> Branding, but you can set a custom address as the starting point for each travel zone.

In the example below, using the red dot as the starting point, assume that there is a 20 mile one-way travel zone. The green circle represents a travel zone; any bookings that fall within the travel zone would be charged the travel fee, but any that do not fall within the circle would not be charged the travel fee.

Note: If you set a travel zone to calculate distance as round-trip, and you have a maximum distance, it will essentially cut the travel zone maximum distance in half, because the system calculates the trip to the event as well as from.
