How do I create a mini photo session?

You can use Check Cherry to easily create, book and manage mini photo sessions, including automated messages, terms and add ons.

Click the Create New button to create a new mini

The Create New button is in the upper right corner of your Check Cherry account.

Once you have your mini created, managing it is easy. To manage your mini's, just go to Sales --> Bookings and select the Mini's tab.


Overview

  • From the overview page, you can manage:

  • Title of the mini

  • Description of the event

  • Status of the event (Public, Private or Disabled - Unavailable for booking)

  • Date of the event

  • Number of bookings per slot

  • Full price of each session.

  • Tax (only shows up if you have a tax zone enabled)

  • Deposit

  • Location

  • Background image of the booking page

  • Brand the mini belongs to (if you have more than 1 brand)

From the overview page, you can also:

  • Add slots

  • Regenerate the slots (change booking details)

  • Edit time slots

  • Edit number of bookings per time slot

  • Add a booking manually

  • Remove a slot

  • Edit existing bookings:

    • Show and Edit booking details

    • Reschedule slots

    • Access the invoice

  • Edit terms

  • Duplicate the session

  • Add/Edit/Remove staff

Manage button

The Manage button on each booking slot allows you to do several things:

  • Show/Edit booking details

  • Reschedule/Change times

  • Payments & Refunds (takes you to the Invoice for the booking)


Terms tab

From the Terms tab, you can override the default terms for all slots in the mini session.

Messages tab

From the Messages tab, you can quickly send emails, either from scratch or from pre-created templates, to individual session clients.

Booking Page

The Booking page tab opens a preview page in another tab showing the slots still available as they will appear to clients.
