How do I remove a brand?

Check Cherry makes it easy to remove a brand that you no longer use.

Every Check Cherry account can have at least two (2) brands. If you have at least 2 brands and would like to remove one, you can do that by following these simple steps:

To remove your bookings and proposals:

  1. Go to Sales --> Bookings

  2. Select the brand you want to remove from the dropdown in the left sidebar.

    1. Click the Apply Filters button at the bottom of the sidebar.

  3. Click on a booking that you want to remove, scroll down to the bottom and click the Cancel/Postpone button and select Permanently delete booking

Next, filter the bookings to show postponed/canceled/expired events

  1. Set the Status filters in the left sidebar to 'Show All'

    1. Click the Apply Filters button at the bottom of the sidebar.

  2. Click the Past button to see past bookings

  3. Click the Proposals filter to see proposals as well

  1. Click on a booking that you want to delete

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the booking and click the Cancel or Postpone button

    1. Select Permanently delete booking

To reassign your bookings and proposals:

  1. Go to Sales --> Bookings

  2. Click the Past button to see past bookings

  3. Click the Proposals filter to see proposals as well

  4. Select the brand you want to remove from the dropdown in the left sidebar.

  5. Set the filters in the left sidebar to 'Show All'

    1. Click Apply Filters at the bottom of the sidebar.

  6. Click on a booking or proposal that you want to assign to a different brand

    1. Click the Manage Booking button

    2. Select Edit Proposal/Edit Booking Settings

c. From the Booking Settings, choose the brand to reassign the booking to


Remove the brand.

When you have removed or reassigned all the bookings, you can remove the brand by going to Manage --> Business Settings.

  1. Click Edit on the brand you want to remove.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Brand: <brand name to be deleted>

If you see a message that says the brand can not be deleted, go back to Sales --> Bookings, follow the instruction at the top of this article to ensure that there are no outstanding bookings or proposals for the brand.
