From the home page of your Google Ads account, go to Goals and click “Create Conversion Action”
1. Choose the right conversion type
Depending on your goal:
If you want more leads or inquiries: Choose Sign-up or Lead.
(This tracks when someone submits your contact form or proposal request.)
If you want to track actual bookings or deposits: Choose Purchase.
(This fires when someone completes a booking in Check Cherry.)
2. Set your conversion details
When filling out the next screen:
Conversion name: e.g. “Event Booking,” “Lead Form Submitted,” or “Photo Booth Inquiry.”
Value:
If every lead or booking is roughly worth the same, set a static value (e.g., $100).
If your services vary, choose Use different values for each conversion (Check Cherry can pass these automatically later).
Count:
For leads → One (only count once per person).
For bookings or payments → Every (count every completed transaction).
Click-through window: 30 days is fine — that’s how long after someone clicks your ad it can still count the conversion.
View-through window: Optional, but 1 day works fine.
3. Install the tag
After you click Create and Continue → Install the tag yourself, you’ll get that HTML code snippet starting with:<AW-######## >
Copy that entire block and paste it into Check Cherry under Manage --> Business Settings --> Integrations
