I'm getting spam leads - what can I do about those?

Fighting spam is a never-ending task that requires constant diligence. Using Check Cherry's built in captcha with our online booking engine will help reduce the number of spam leads that you receive.

How leads are acquired

There are a number of ways you can create leads in your Check Cherry account.

  1. When someone begins the online booking process but doesn't finish, we capture their info as a lead for you to follow up on

  2. Manually enter them by clicking the Create New button in the upper right corner

  3. Share lead forms in various locations across the web for customers to fill out and become leads

  4. Set your packages to 'Lead Form' booking method and have customers fill out a lead form instead of book a package online

Captcha is only available for online booking. It can not be enabled on lead forms.

While we do make it easy for you to generate as many leads as possible, you may find that some leads are spam. To help reduce the number of spam leads you receive, you can enable a captcha as part of your online booking process.

  1. Go to Manage - Booking Engine - General

  2. Click Enable Captcha under the Additional Options
