Part 3 - After the Photo Shoot: Delivering Images and Building Client Relationships
Updated over a week ago

Every photo shoot and client will be different, but you should always aim to provide a great experience for them! This could lead them to becoming a regular client of yours, or they may even refer you to their friends and family. (Not to mention they could leave you a good review, for other clients to see!)

To set yourself up for success, try to think of the photo shoot in three different parts: Before, During, and After.

In this article, we'll specifically go over best practices for After the photo shoot!

After the Photo Shoot:

  1. Back Up the Images - Before you do anything else, make sure to back up the images you just took! You can learn more about backing up and protecting your images here!

  2. Share Sneak Peeks - This is optional, but within the Cheezoo Chat thread with your client, you could share a few sneak peeks (or favorite images) you took from the shoot with them!

  3. Edit the Images - You're welcome to edit the images yourself, or you can order editing through Cheezoo for $0.22/image! (Find examples of the different editing styles Cheezoo offers here! If you plan to do your own editing, check out this article for our general editing recommendations, and this article for our recommendations on editing different skin tones.)

  4. Deliver the Images - Once the images are ready for delivery, create albums from within the Cheezoo app, and deliver them to your client!

  5. Follow Up - After delivering the completed gallery, send a quick message to your client in the Cheezoo app to thank them and let them know you enjoyed the shoot! You'll also want to remind them that they can order prints directly within the Cheezoo app and to leave you a review!
