Customers can choose to share their Raw Material list and Annual Volumes with their Account Managers. This is as easy as configuring the visibility settings with two clicks. This allows an Account Manager to identify opportunities for new sales with a customer.

Prerequisites

  • You must be connected with that Customer on ChemCloud

What You'll Need

  • This functionality is only open to your customer, so you will need to guide them through this process

  • We recommend setting up a meeting (in person or on video) with your customer to walk them through the steps

Steps

1. Set up a meeting with a customer

2. Ask the Customer to navigate to the visibility settings for your organisation

Ask the customer to login to ChemCloud and navigate to your supplier shopfront from the Suppliers tab.

Ask them to navigate to the Product Visibility tab on the Left Hand Menu.

2. Select Visibility settings

The customer has a number of options available to them in the default settings:

  • Raw Material visibility: They can choose which Raw Materials are available in your portal:

    • No Raw Materials

    • Approved Materials Only

    • All Raw Materials

  • Annual Volume visibility: They can choose which Raw Materials have annual volume visible:

    • No Raw Materials

    • Approved Materials Only

    • All Raw Materials

Ask them to set both settings to All Raw Materials. The customer can also manage these settings on each Raw Material individually and remove individual products if they don't want them to be visible.

Tell them to hit Apply Default Settings then hit Save.

This is the screen that the customer can see.

3. Review what is available on the Customer page

Navigate to that customer's page in your ChemCloud portal.

On the 'Raw Materials' tab you can now see the products that the customer has made visible to you.

You should see a count of products in the 'Existing Approvals' tab and the 'Opportunities' tab. You should also be able to see the 'Annual Volume' bucket for each product.

From here, you can now make use of the 'Suggest Product' feature, to suggest appropriate products to your customers.
