Scheduling a one time payment

How can I schedule a one time payment in the future?

You can start by creating a one-time payment:

  • From the home screen, tap New Payment.

  • Select a category, payment method (PAD, Bill Pay, or Interac e-Transfer), payee details, and the amount.

When you reach the Payment Date screen, you’ll see two options: Monthly or One-time.

For one-time payments:

  • You’ll see a calendar with available dates.

  • The earliest payment date you can select is 3 business days from today. This rule cannot be bypassed.

  • For PAD or Bill Pay, you cannot choose weekends or Canadian holidays, since payments are not processed on those days.

  • For Interac e-Transfer, you may choose any date.

You can schedule a payment:

  • A minimum of 3 business days in the future

  • Up to a maximum of 1 month in advance

  • Payments cannot be scheduled beyond 1 month.

Can I change the amount or date of a scheduled one time payment?

  • After a payment has been scheduled you cannot make changes. However you can cancel the scheduled payment by clicking on the scheduled payment on your home screen and clicking the "Cancel scheduled payment" link.

  • Once the payment has been cancelled you can schedule a new payment with updated amount, date or payment details.
