Set your Chexy due date 4–6 business days before the 1st.
Why?
Chexy requires:
4 business days for bank settlement
Additional buffer for weekends and holidays
Banks do not process payments on weekends or statutory holidays.
Example
If your rent is due February 1,
your recommended Chexy due date is:
January 25–27 (depending on holidays)
Important: December & Holiday Months
December includes multiple bank holidays.
If you have an active subscription, your charge may process earlier than expected.
This happens because of bank closures and settlement timing.
We cannot control bank processing schedules.
We also cannot guarantee the exact same calendar charge date every month.
If You’re Using PAD
If your landlord pulls rent via PAD:
Simply ensure your Chexy subscription is active.
Your landlord will initiate the withdrawal.
Chexy will process the charge based on when the withdrawal is submitted.
