American Express® has launched a new bonus points offer exclusively for eligible Amex cardmembers who pay their bills through Chexy.
The offer runs November 18, 2025 to October 31, 2026, and all bonus points come directly from American Express—Chexy simply facilitates the payment.
🌟 How the Offer Works
American Express is giving both Consumer and Business Cardmembers monthly opportunities to earn extra Membership Rewards® or Aeroplan® points, depending on the card, when using their eligible Amex card on Chexy.
🔹 For Consumer Cards (Platinum, Gold, Aeroplan Reserve, Centurion):
A single Chexy payment of $1,000+ earns 250 points, while two separate $1,000+ payments in the same month earn 500 points total. You can earn up to 6,000 points during the offer period.
🔸 For Business Cards (Business Platinum, Aeroplan Business Reserve, Gold Rewards Business):
A single $2,000+ payment earns 500 points, and two $2,000+ payments in the same month earn 1,000 points total—up to 12,000 points over the offer.
Key Things to Know
No Registration Needed: You don’t need to register for the offer in the Amex app—bonus points are awarded automatically when eligible payments post to your qualifying Amex card.
Bonus points are awarded after your payment posts to your eligible Amex card. (Points will appear in your Amex app).
Your earning resets on the 1st of every month, and only payments that post within the same calendar month count toward that month’s bonus.
Who’s Eligible?
You’re eligible if you’re ✅:
The Basic Cardmember of an eligible Canadian Amex card,
Your card is in good standing, and
You make qualifying Chexy bill payments that are charged to your eligible Amex card within November 18, 2025 and October 31, 2026.
Both new and existing Chexy users with eligible Amex cards can take part.

How To Get Started
1. Apply for an eligible Amex card through Chexy
If you don’t already have one of the eligible Canadian American Express cards — Aeroplan Reserve, Platinum, Gold — you can apply for one directly from our rewards calculator.
2. Get approved
Once your application is approved, your new Amex card automatically qualifies for the Chexy × Amex offer whenever you use it for bill payments through Chexy.
3. Start earning bonus points
Make eligible payments through Chexy with your new card, and you’ll earn Chexy × Amex bonus points on top of any standard American Express welcome bonus you’re eligible for.
