Chexy does not maintain a list of payees that accept PAD.

If your payee accepts PAD, you can use Chexy.

It is your responsibility to confirm that your payee supports PAD before setting up a subscription.


What Happens If My Payee Doesn’t Accept PAD?

If your payee does not support PAD:

  • The withdrawal will not occur

  • Your payment will not process

  • Any refunds issued will not include fees

Chexy fees are non-refundable.


How to Set Up a PAD Payment

  1. Create a Chexy subscription

  2. Download your Chexy void cheque

  3. Provide it directly to your payee

  4. Wait for your payee to submit the withdrawal request


Important

  • Chexy does not initiate PAD withdrawals

  • We only fulfill them once your payee submits the request

Your payee must actively pull the funds.

If they do not submit the withdrawal, your payment will remain in your Chexy account.

Not every payee supports PAD.

Before setting up a subscription, confirm directly with your payee that they accept PAD payments.


What Is a Payee?

A payee is the recipient of your payment.

For example:

  • If you are paying rent, your landlord is the payee

  • You are the payer
