Chexy accounts are not restricted to “personal-only” or “business-only” usage.
You may:
Pay personal rent and business expenses from the same account
Use a business credit card for personal payments
Use a personal credit card for business payments
Does It Matter for Reporting?
Chexy does not internally categorize payments as personal or business.
For bookkeeping purposes:
Transaction classification depends on how you track it externally (e.g., accounting software)
Statements and invoices can be downloaded directly from your Chexy account
Important Considerations
Before making payments, ensure:
Your credit card permits the type of transaction
Your payee accepts the selected payment method (PAD, Bill Pay, or e-Transfer)
Certain payments that require a business entity are set up appropriately
Need Separate Accounting?
If you prefer strict separation between personal and business activity, you can create a second Chexy SMB account.
To do this:
Go to Settings → My Details → Small Business Account → Set up now
