What is a guest editor?

Guest editors are people you can invite to view or edit your documents but aren't explicit members of your workspace.

You can share documents with anyone — even people outside your workspace — using the Share menu.

  • Pro plans can invite up to 3 guest editors.

  • Plus plans include unlimited guests at no extra cost.

To share a document:

  1. Open the document you want to share.

  2. Click Share.

  3. Enter the recipient’s email address.

  4. Choose the permission level: View or Edit.

  5. Click Invite.

The recipient will get an email with a link to log in and access your document.
