Why Can't I Add A New Time Card?

When you try to add a new time card and can't select the job from the drop down, this article explains how to troubleshoot the issue

If you are on the Edit Time Card screen trying to add a new time card but can't select a job from the job drop-down, there are a few things to try.

Can't Add a Time Card? Here's How to Troubleshoot

  • Make sure you are zone-filtered to All Zones. If you are filtered to a specific zone that has no jobs in it, then the job drop-down won't open. At the top of your screen, change back to All Zones.

  • Try another browser. Sometimes, this is a browser issue.

  • Reboot. If it's a browser issue, a reboot can help.

  • Do you have Chronotek open in more than one browser tab or in multiple browsers? Please, please, please do NOT do that. It can cause many problems, and the reasons are too technical for you to care. Just don't do it. 😎
