How to Add a Custom Domain to Your Church.tech Account
In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of adding a custom domain to your Church.tech account. This feature is available for users on a PRO subscription and allows you to reroute pages generated from Church.tech to your church's own domain, making it appear as though they are coming directly from your website. Follow these steps to set up your custom domain:

Step 1: Access the Custom Domain Feature
Log in to your Church.tech account.
Click on "Content" on the left-hand navigation.
Navigate using the tabs on the top of the page: Pages, Templates, Domains.
Click on Domains.
Navigate to the top right-hand corner of the dashboard.
Click on the green "+ Add Custom Domain" button.
Step 2: Enter Your Custom Domain
In the custom domain field, enter the domain you want to use. For example, if your church's domain is "foundrybaltimore.com", you might enter "page.foundrybaltimore.com".
Click "Add Custom Domain".
Step 3: Configure Your DNS Settings
Once you add your custom domain, Church.tech will give you an A Record to use.
Log in to wherever you bought your domain (like GoDaddy, Google Domains, or Namecheap).
Go to the DNS settings — this is where you manage where your domain points.
Look for a button that says “Add Record” or “Add A Record.”
Fill it out like this:
Name or Host:
@Type:
AValue or Points to:
149.248.222.140
Click Save. It might take a few minutes for the update to go live.
Step 4: Verify Your DNS Settings
Return to your Church.tech account.
Click on the "Verify DNS" button.
It might take a few minutes for the changes to populate.
Step 5: Confirm Your Custom Domain is Active
After a few minutes, your custom domain should become live and active.
Test the domain to ensure it is working correctly.
