The Library appears on the right side of the Schedule page whenever you click a time slot.
Library tabs
Use the Library toggle to switch between:
Ciclo Library — our curated catalogue of pre-made classes.
Studio Library — classes your studio has built or uploaded.
Favourites — classes you've starred.
Tap the star on any class preview to mark it as a favourite.
Can I rename a Live Class or a Virtual Class?
If you mean a Live Class or a Virtual Class from the Ciclo Library — no, those titles cannot be changed.
If you mean a class that you created in Class Builder — the answer is different. We are working on implementing the ability to rename classes, but as of right now, you cannot rename a created class. The title is fixed once the class is created, and for now the workaround is to create a new class with the title you want. See "How do I build my own class with Class Builder?"
Class Types
Switch between Virtual, Live, and Free Style:
Virtual — plays automatically with an on-screen instructor.
Live — taught by your instructor in the room, with profile guidance on screen.
Free Style — instructor controls everything in real time.
See "What class types does CicloZone offer?" for the full comparison, and "How do I schedule, change or delete a class?" for the step-by-step of putting one on your timetable.
Filters
For Virtual classes you can filter by:
Time / duration
Intensity (easy / medium / hard)
Average RPM
Stand-up cadence range
Instructor language (English, Spanish, Portuguese)
On-screen instructor
Live classes use the same filters except on-screen instructor and instructor language.
Random virtual playback
Choose Random Virtual Classes to auto-pick by duration and intensity.
Searching
Use the search bar to find a class by exact name.
Step 1 — Introduction
Log in to your CicloStudio account, open the scheduler page, and click on the timeslot where you want to add a class.
Step 2 — Class Details
The Time Slot will open. On the left side, you'll see the class details for the selected time slot, including the trainer, date, time, and maximum duration — the available time until the next class in the schedule.
Step 3 — Library
On the right side, you'll find the Library, where class selection takes place.
Step 4 — Search Bar
At the top, you'll see a search bar that lets you find classes by exact name. To the right of it, there is a Library toggle to switch between three library types.
Step 5 — Ciclo Library
Ciclo Library - all classes created by CicloZone and available for you to select. These carry our titles and cannot be renamed by your studio.
Step 6 — Studio Library
Studio Library - the classes you've created and added to your studio library. The Class Builder is explained in our "Class Builder" how-to video.
Step 7 — Favourites
Favourites — classes you've marked as favourites by clicking on the "star" on the video preview.
Step 8 — Class Types
Below, you will find the Class Types toggle.
Step 9 — Virtual Classes
Let's start with Virtual Classes.
Step 10 — Virtual Classes Explained
Virtual Classes are professionally produced classes with an on-screen instructor and licensed music playlist. At the top, you will find the complete class profile: intensity zones and their corresponding RPM ranges. On the left side, the current and next intervals with their target RPM, riding position, and remaining interval time.
Step 11 — Virtual Filters - Step 1
Now let's look at how to filter Virtual Classes.
Step 12 — Virtual Filters - Step 2
Use filters to sort Virtual Classes by time, intensity, average RPM, stand-up cadence range, instructor language, and on-screen instructor.
Step 13 — Virtual Random
You can select Random Virtual Classes, which will randomly choose and play a class from the Class Library according to your specified duration and intensity.
Step 14 — Select Class
Click "Select" to choose your class.
Step 15 — Class Added
The selected class now appears in Class Details and can be saved to the schedule. It keeps the name it has in the Library — scheduling a class does not let you rename it.
Step 16 — Live Transition
Now let's learn about Live Classes.
Step 17 — Live Classes Explained
Live Classes have the same structured class profiles as Virtual Classes, but without an on-screen instructor. Instead, the class background is displayed — a road-style scene, or one of the others — enabling a live instructor in the studio to guide the class in real time while riders follow the pre-designed session.
Step 18 — Live Filters - Step 1
Now let's look at how to filter Live Classes.
Step 19 — Live Filter - Step 2
Live Classes have the same filters available as Virtual Classes, except for on-screen instructor and instructor language.
Step 20 — Trainer
For a Live Class, select an instructor so they can access the Trainer Dials during the session. The class will still save and run without one — it just plays with no instructor on screen and no instructor voice, much like a Virtual class but without the virtual instructor. Some studios choose that deliberately when they want a structured ride with music and visuals and nobody talking over it. Inviting team members and the Trainer Dials are explained in the how-to videos "Invite Trainers and Manage Team Settings" and "Trainer Dials".
Step 21 — Free Style
Now let's learn about Free Style Classes.
Step 22 — Free Style Explained
Free Style Classes give instructors full control over the session without a pre-defined class profile. The instructor leads the workout in real time using the Free Style Dials, changing zones and cadence.
Step 23 — Free Style Set Up
Let's look at how to set up a Free Style Class.
Step 24 — Free Style - Instructor
For a Free Style Class, an instructor must be selected so they can access the Free Style Dials and control the class — unlike a Live class, a Free Style class cannot be saved without one. Inviting team members and the Trainer Dials are explained in the how-to videos "Invite Trainers and Manage Team Settings" and "Trainer Dials".
Step 25 — Free Style - time
For Free Style classes, you need to select the class end time, as the session is not pre-planned. The selected duration must be shorter than the maximum duration shown below.
Step 26 — Ending
You have now learned how the library functions, the types of classes available, and are ready to add them to your schedule.
