CicloStudio supports three studio class types — Virtual, Live and Free Style — and three at-home options for your riders: Home Ride, CicloTV and Free Ride. All three studio class types are included in the BASE subscription at no extra cost.

Virtual Classes

  • Pre-recorded with an on-screen instructor.

  • Plays automatically — no live coach needed in the room, and no trainer needs to be assigned.

  • Available 24/7 for unstaffed slots.

  • Licensed music is bundled — no music licensing problem for you.

  • Available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese with virtual instructors.

  • The studio screen uses a deliberately plain background, so the on-screen instructor stays clearly visible.

Live Classes

  • Taught in the room by your instructor.

  • The studio screen shows the class profile and the class background, but no on-screen instructor (that's the difference from Virtual) — your instructor leads in person.

  • Each Live class comes with one of seven backgrounds built in — Alpine Road, Desert, Forest Trail, Mountain Road, Night City, Spaceship or Vortex. See "What backgrounds are available?"

  • The instructor sees the class structure on their own device (Trainer Dials) — current and next interval (RPM, intensity, position) — even without prior class memorisation.

  • The instructor can trigger challenges to vary the class live, and change the leaderboard metric.

  • A Live class will save without a trainer assigned, but the trainer then gets no Trainer Dials — assign one before the class runs.

  • Licensed music is bundled.

Free Style Classes

  • Instructor controls everything live — RPM, zones, intensity in real time — from the Free Style Dials on their own device.

  • No fixed class profile — fully improvised session.

  • A Free Style class cannot be saved without a trainer assigned — without one there is nothing driving the class.

  • You choose the background when you schedule the class, from four options — Night City, Desert, Vortex or Spaceship — and the instructor can change it from their phone shortly before the class starts. See "What backgrounds are available?"

  • Instructor uses their own music (must be licensed by the studio).

At-home options for riders

  • Home Ride — on-demand guided sessions (subscription).

  • CicloTV — scheduled at-home sessions (subscription).

  • Free Ride — unguided personal session, free.
