If your bike doesn't appear in the device list, work through these steps in order.
Quick checks
Is the bike powered on?
Some bikes need a generator wake-up — pedal briefly to power up the Bluetooth module.
For battery-powered cranks (e.g. CicloZone Power Crank), check the CR2032 battery isn't flat.
Is your phone's Bluetooth turned on?
Open your phone Settings → Bluetooth → ensure it's ON.
Has the CicloZone app been granted Bluetooth permission?
iOS: Settings → CicloZone → Bluetooth = ON.
Android: Settings → Apps → CicloZone → Permissions → Nearby devices / Bluetooth = Allowed.
In the app
Pull down on the Bluetooth device list to refresh.
Tap the bike whose number is shown on its phone tray.
The app shows devices sorted by proximity — your bike should be at the top.
Still not seeing it?
Is another phone already paired to this bike? Only unpaired bikes are shown to you. Have the other rider end their session.
Try moving closer to the bike (BLE has a short range, ~10 m clear).
Restart your phone's Bluetooth (turn off, wait 10 s, turn on).
Close and reopen the CicloZone app.
If nothing works
Try a different bike to confirm whether the issue is the bike or your phone.
For old or non-Bluetooth bikes, see "Which bikes are compatible?" — you may need a CicloZone Power Crank or an RPM sensor.
