How can I convert between cups and metric measurements?

Automated conversions now let you view any ckbk recipe with your preferred units

ckbk recently added automatic conversions for recipes which do not include both metric and US cup measurements. Just use the slider on any such recipe to see the quantities in your preferred units (we show the author's original by default).

For example, looking at this recipe for Moroccan-Inspired Sweet and Hot Cherry Tomato Jam:

Also, if you have access to Amazon Alexa, Apple's Siri or Google Assistant, try the following style of questions:

  • "Hey Siri, how many grams is 2 cups of superfine sugar?"

  • "OK Google, how much is 400 grams of flour in cups?"

  • "Alexa, how much does 7 tablespoons of butter weigh?"
