Comments are a great way to start contextual discussions at any moment of a claap video. Share your ideas and thoughts by leaving comments and mentioning teammates.

Adding a comment

While recording

If you want to pin or bookmark moments while recording a claap video (or recording a meeting), simply click on the πŸ“Œ icon on the recording bar:

The pin will create a comment on the lateral bar that you can later edit to add more context if needed.

  1. Navigate to the claap to comment.

  2. Add a comment with one of the following options:

    • Click on the Comment button in the lower part of the screen

    • Or press C on your keyboard

    • Or drag and drop a zone of the video with your mouse.

  3. The comment is added to the Comment bar on the right-hand side.

Start a search

  1. Click the search field at the top of the comment sidebar.

  2. Type what you’re looking for into the search field.

  3. Select an option from the list of results.

Note: Search results also include subsequent comments in a thread

Sort comments

  2. Select the desired sorting option: Timestamp, Latest comments, or Resolved comments

Filter comments

  1. Click the filter field at the top of the comment sidebar.

Resolving a comment

You can mark any comment thread as Resolved to hide it and focus your attention where it’s most needed by clicking on the Resolve comment button in the top-right corner of the comment thread or press R.

You can share the link to a specific comment by clicking on the β€’β€’β€’ button in the top right-hand side of the comment and select Copy link.

Deleting a comment

To delete a comment, click on the β€’β€’β€’ button in the top right-hand side of the comment and select Delete or press COMMAND + DEL when hovering over the comment.
