How to Post Jobs on ClassCover Jobs (Desktop Version)

  1. Log in to ClassCover

Log in to your school or organisation's ClassCover account via your computer.

  2. Navigate to Jobs

In the left navigation menu, select Jobs.

  3. Post a Job

Click on Post a New Job in the top right corner to create a new job post.

  4. Enter Job Details

    1. Job Title

    2. Job Type (Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Casual or Job Share)

    3. Role Type e.g. Teacher, SLSO, Early Childhood Worker, etc.)

    4. School Level & Subject

    5. Job Close Date: This is automatically set to 30 days from today's date. If you want a different end date, simply click the text box to choose another.

    6. Location: Ensure the location reflects the school or job’s actual address, not your head office. Tick the box if the job is remote.

Note: You can save your job post as a draft at any time if you need to pause and come back later.

  5. Write a Strong Job Summary

Write a job summary detailing the duties, skills, qualifications, key selling points, salary, and benefits of the position. A strong summary helps your job post stand out to potential applicants.

  6. Manage How Applications are Submitted

You can choose to accept applications directly through ClassCover or provide a link to an external application website.

    1. Via ClassCover: you can manage applicants by sorting them into categories like shortlisted, hired, or rejected. You can also view cover letters, full profiles, and download attachments such as CVs and certificates.

    2. Via an external website: provide the link but do not post your email address.

  7. Boost Your Job Post (Optional)

    For just $20, boosting will:

    1. Pin your job to the top of search results

    2. Send it to relevant candidates via email

    3. Increase exposure and attract more applicants

  8. Review and Publish

Double-check your job post for accuracy, spelling, and grammar, then hit Post to go live.

Managing Applicants

Once your job is live, click into it anytime to:

  • View and manage applications

  • Access profiles and attached CVs

  • Shortlist, hire, or reject applicants

  • Add successful applicants to your school’s casual list with one click

Note: Applicants are not notified if their status changes (e.g. to Shortlisted, Rejected, or Hired).

Don’t Use ClassCover for Bookings? Use Jobs Only

Not using ClassCover to manage casual bookings? You can still use ClassCover Jobs by creating a Jobs Only account. It’s perfect for:
