Clubb apps are Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). This means they are not listed in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, but they can be saved to the home screen and behave just like a native app, including push notifications for new content, comments, and replies.
The key advantage of PWAs is that you avoid the 15 to 30% in-app purchase fees that Apple and Google charge for native apps.
Setting up your app
Go to Settings in your dashboard
Add an app icon by clicking Change Image — this is the image that appears on subscribers' home screens. We recommend the image is square 512 x 512 or similar size. This can easily be created in tools such as Canva.
How to install your app
To download your platform as an app on your mobile device, first open the platform's website link in your browser. Then tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner. From the dropdown menu, tap Use the app. A popup will appear with instructions on how to install the app on your device.
Tap the Share icon in the browser
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
The app then appears on the Home Screen

After installing, subscribers will be prompted to allow push notifications. They will receive notifications about new content and activity on their comments.
