The Leaderboard dashboard widget allows your users to see a leaderboard in the app that displays a team ranking based on experience points awarded during a campaign period. This widget is a great way to introduce gamification and friendly competition into your app by settings challenges and encouraging app users to participate and compete against each other in teams.

The Leaderboard widget works alongside the Teams and Campaigns features in Cogniss.

1. In Cogniss Creator, navigate to Dashboard in the left sidebar.

2. Click on Add new widget in the top right of the page.

3. In the Dashboard widgets library, search for the Leaderboard widget and click Add. Return to the Dashboard by clicking on the cross in the top right.

4. The Leaderboard widget will now be on your Dashboard and ready for you to configure as needed.

5. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

1. By default, the Leaderboard widget will only be displayed when a campaign is active, even if it has been added to your dashboard. Select Display upcoming campaign to ensure the leaderboard is displayed to users for an upcoming campaign.

2. Once you have updated the widget, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

3. Open your app to preview your Leaderboard widget and to test that it works as expected.
