How to import student submissions from Schoology

Follow these instructions to effortlessly import student submissions from Schoology using CoGrader.

How to export assignments from Schoology to CoGrader.

Click on the name of the Assignment (Or navigate to the Submissions Screen however you prefer)

  1. Click the “Download All” button (On the right pane)

  1. Choose “Save File” and "Ok"

If you are on Windows, right click the file and then "Extract All…"

If you are on a Mac Device, just double click the file.

On CoGrader

If you don't have a class, create a class.

Click to Create an Assignment

Write down the assignment prompt, select a rubric and save.

Click "Import Files"

Click to select the files

Upload the files from the Schoology Export to CoGrader.

If you are using Google Assignments:

Navigate to the assignment in Schoology and click "Submissions"

Click on the "Open" button on the top left of the Google Doc

In the Google Doc, click in "Move" just on the right of the name of the file

Click in the "Open folder in a new tab" button to see the folder in Google Drive

Click on the name of the folder in Google Drive, and then "Export"

Choose “Save File” and "Ok"

If you are on Windows, right click the file and then "Extract All…"

If you are on a Mac Device, just double click the file.

On CoGrader

If you don't have a class, create a class.

Click to Create an Assignment

Write down the assignment prompt, select a rubric and save.

Click "Import Files"

Click to select the files

Upload the files from the Schoology Export to CoGrader.
