How to Reorder Rubric Criteria in CoGrader

Change the criteria order. Add and move rows. Drag one row between two others for example.

CoGrader now allows you to easily edit and reorganize your rubrics!

Here's how to do it:

Overview

  1. Access the rubric editor, by clicking "my rubrics" in the main dashboard

  2. Reorganize rubric criteria (rows)

  3. Save your changes

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Navigate to the Rubrics section in CoGrader

Click the settings button > "my rubrics" in the main dashboard.

Step 2: Reorganize rubric criteria (rows)

  • Select the rubric you want to edit and click "edit"

  • To the left of each criterion name, you'll see a "drag handle" icon (2 vertical lines made of dots)

  • Click and hold this icon, then drag the row up or down to reorder criteria

  • Release the mouse button to drop the row in its new position

Step 3: Save your changes

  • After making your edits, click the blue "Save rubric" button in the top right corner

  • To discard changes, click the "Reset rubric" button or the "X" to close the editor

Additional Tips

  • To reorder point levels (columns), you will have to edit, add or delete them

  • Use the trash can icon to the right of each row to delete a criterion

  • The "+" icon at the top right of the rubric allows you to add new columns (performance levels)

  • Remember to save your changes before closing the editor
