Step-by-Step Instructions

Steps to Deposit from a Company Account

Depositing from a company bank account into your Coinstash account requires the following steps:

Name Matching: The bank account you send funds from must exactly match the name on your Coinstash account. We cannot accept third-party deposits (e.g., from a friend, family member, or business partner).

  1. Create a Coinstash Company Account: Before making any deposit, you must first set up a company Coinstash account, as deposits from a company bank account can only proceed through a corresponding company account. Contact Coinstash support if you need guidance on creating an account.

  2. Link Your Company Bank Account: After setting up the company account, ensure your company bank account is appropriately linked and verified for smooth transactions.

  3. Proceed with Your Deposit: Once everything is set up, you can initiate a deposit from your company bank account to the associated company account in Coinstash.

  1. Start Your Deposit:

    • Tap or click the Deposit button on your home screen or dashboard.

    • Select AUD (or Cash) and press Next.

  2. Choose Your Method:

    • Bank Transfer (Osko): You will be shown a unique BSB and Account Number. These details belong to your Coinstash account—simply copy them into your banking app to send funds.

    • PayID: Click the PayID box to see your unique PayID email address. This is the fastest method for most users and typically results in an instant transfer.

  3. Complete the Transfer: Open your online banking app and send the desired amount using the details provided by Coinstash.

Troubleshooting Common Deposit Issues

While most deposits are processed smoothly, some users may encounter issues such as an "invalid" BSB or blocked PayID transfers. Here are some troubleshooting tips:

  • Invalid BSB or Blocked PayID:

    • This issue may occur with certain banks. If you experience this problem, consider using a different banking provider to complete your transfer.

    • Ensure that the details you entered (BSB, Account Number, or PayID) are correct and match the information provided in your Coinstash account.

  • Joint Accounts: We do accept deposits from joint accounts, provided your name is one of the legal owners. In some cases, our team may ask for a bank statement to verify this.

  • No Direct Debits: Coinstash will never "pull" funds from your bank account. You are always in control of "pushing" the funds from your bank to us.- Third-Party Deposits: Transfers from third-party accounts such as those of friends, family, or other entities are not accepted and will be returned to the originating account to ensure compliance.

  • Company Accounts: Deposits from company accounts must only go into corresponding verified Coinstash company accounts to comply with compliance requirements. 🕒 When will my funds arrive?

  • Instant (Osko/PayID): Most deposits are processed via the New Payments Platform (NPP) and arrive within minutes, 24/7.

  • Standard Bank Transfer: Depending on your bank's internal processing, it may take 1–2 business days.

  • First-Time Hold: Be aware that some Australian banks place a 24-hour security hold on your very first deposit to a crypto exchange. This is a bank-side safety measure and is out of Coinstash's control.- Additional delays may arise due to internal banking verification processes, which can take 1–2 business days. These verifications are part of the banking institution's standard protocols to ensure secure transactions.

💡 Pro Tip: Check Your Limits

To deposit AUD, your account must be at least Tier 1 verified. If you're planning a larger move, check your Membership Dashboard to see your daily limits—Starter levels typically begin with a $100,000 daily limit. If you are operating from a company account, ensure it is verified and linked to your Coinstash company account for seamless transactions.

If you encounter issues during the deposit process, such as blocked PayID transfers or invalid BSB details, refer to the troubleshooting section for guidance or contact Coinstash support for assistance.

Resolving Mistaken Deposits from a Company Account

If you mistakenly deposited funds from a company bank account into a personal Coinstash account or vice versa, Coinstash provides two options for resolution:

  1. Refund the Deposit: The mistakenly transferred funds can be refunded back to the original source bank account. Ensure you have the necessary details ready to request this refund.

  2. Transfer to a Company Account: Another option is to create a Coinstash company account (if one does not yet exist) and request Coinstash to transfer the deposit into that account once it is properly set up. Contact Coinstash customer support to facilitate either of these options safely and efficiently.3. Automatic Refunds for Non-Compliant Deposits: Any deposit that does not comply with the name-matching rules or account requirements will automatically be refunded to the originating account to maintain compliance and security protocols.
