Overview

Discoverability settings in Collective OS let organization admins control how talent and case study content is shared within the network. These settings balance privacy and exposure, ensuring content reaches the right audience—either publicly across Collective OS or privately within specific collectives.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Accessing Discoverability Settings

  • Navigate to OS Tools from the main navigation.

  • Click on Settings and select Organization Settings.

  • Go to Privacy Settings to find discoverability options for talent and case studies.

Step 2: Setting Discoverability Levels

  • Everyone in COS: Makes talent and case studies visible to the entire network, boosting engagement and partnership opportunities.

  • Shared Collective Only: Limits visibility to connected collectives, enhancing privacy for sensitive content.

Step 3: Saving Changes

  • After selecting the desired discoverability level, click Save Changes to apply the settings across your organization’s content.

Key Points

Two Visibility Options:

  • Everyone in COS increases content visibility and interaction across the network.

  • Shared Collective Only ensures content is accessible only to users within specific collectives, maintaining privacy.

Apply Globally: Changes apply to all talent and case studies organization-wide, simplifying content management.

Default Setting: Shared Collective Only is the default setting for new content, ensuring a secure baseline for privacy.

Impact of Settings:

  • Everyone in COS boosts network presence and fosters broader collaborations.

  • Shared Collective Only supports confidential, trust-based relationships within targeted collectives.
