Set up your comarketing.com account (Earn Mode)

Follow this guide to sign up for comarketing and create your profile in Earn Mode.

In this article, we'll walk you through Earn Mode basics: What it is, how to create your account, and how to complete your profile.

What is Earn Mode?

Earn Mode is how you make money with comarketing.com. You can discover businesses to promote and get paid for each result you generate.

Businesses set what counts as a result. Some will pay you for sales, appointments, sending them a referral, or even just website traffic.

When you join a promotion, you'll often receive media to market with your unique link. Your link tracks each result so you get paid correctly.

Create Your Account

If you already have an account, skip to the next step.

How to Create your comarketing.com account in Earn Mode

  1. Visit comarketing.com and click Get Started.
    ​

  2. Select your default mode: Earn Mode.

    ​

  3. Enter your name, email, country, and phone number in the Create Account form. 🚨 Selecting your country determines the currency you'll be paid in. 🚨 

    ​

  4. Select your Industry
    ​

  5. Review + agree to TOS & privacy policy, then click Get Started
    ​

  6. Check your email for a message from: notifcations@comarketing.com

    1. Click “complete registration”

Complete your profile

Your profile is what tells your partners who you are, what you do, AND makes you discoverable inside comarketing. A complete profile builds out your profile page.

Completing your profile during onboarding (Earn Mode)

  1. Set (and confirm) your password
    ​

  2. Complete Your Profile: Add your profile picture, bio, and cover image.

  3. Location: This can simply be a city, state, or full street address.
    ​Entering your location helps comarketing.com connect you with businesses looking for local promoters, or tells your partner(s) what areas you serve. 
    ​

  4. Select your interest(s): These are the categories you want to promote.
    ​

  5. Billing: Enter your banking info with Stripe Connect.
    ​Stripe connect is a third party payment processing platform, used by companies like Amazon, for secure transactions. To receive payouts of your earnings, you will be asked to enter your bank account for direct deposit.
    ​

    1. Enter your contact info: email, phone number, confirmation code.

    2. Select your business type

    3. Enter business/personal details (these vary based on business type).

    4. Select your industry: Lead Generation or Other Marketing Services

    5. Add your website

    6. Connect your bank account and select which account(s) you want connected to comarketing. From here, you can select the default account for funds to deposit into.

  6. Review + submit your details

Updating your profile in settings (after onboarding)

You'll be prompted to enter your details when onboarding. You can update profile settings at any time by clicking your profile picture ➡️ profile.

How to update your profile

Select your profile picture ➡️ settings. Changing your settings will change what is displayed on your profile in discover.

  1. Profile: Where you can update profile picture, contact info, location, password.

  2. Branding: Tell businesses about yourself! (Your audience, the type of content you post, what you're knowledgeable in, etc.)

    1. Cover Image/Video: this will display as the header in your discover profile. Think of videos here as a way to introduce yourself to businesses.
      ​

  3. Billing:

    1. Plans: upgrade or manage your comarketing.com subscription (more here)

    2. Payouts: manage your billing info through Stripe Connect (more here)
      ​

  4. Defaults

    1. Mode: adjust your default mode in comarketing.com

    2. Interests: select the industries you're interested in promoting
      ​

  5. Payouts: View payout history + status, troubleshoot when needed.
    ​

  6. API Keys: Integrate with Zapier

After entering your new details, click Update to save your settings.
