Each step builds on the one before it. You’ll set up conversion tracking first, so when you upload your media it can be tied to a specific site. When you create a campaign, selecting that same site will pull attach the media you’ve tied to it.
Start by installing tracking code. ⬇️
1️⃣ Install Conversion Tracking
If you want promoters to generate sales, appointments, leads, or site traffic, you’ll need to set up tracking and identify what counts as a conversion first.
This sets the criteria for success—so you’re only paying partners when a real result takes place.

Add tracking script to your website
Select Tracking.
Add Site
Copy the tracking script & paste it into the header of your website
Add it to the HTML of your page, just before the closing</body>tag.If you're using a website builder, look for an "insert code" or "custom HTML" section.
If using Go High Level install the tracking code in your site's body code rather than the header.
Verify Script.
Once your site is successfully verified, add your conversion pages. ⬇️
Define a Conversion
Scroll down to Add Pages
For each conversion step in your funnel that you want to track:
Choose the conversion type (Lead, Appointment, Sale, or Click).
Paste the Raw URL or path of the page (e.g.,
/thank-you,/booking-confirmed).Click Verify.
Add as many conversion pages as you need.

2️⃣ Add Media
Upload campaign-ready content to your media library after installing conversion tracking, so partners have everything they need to promote effectively.

Select the Media tab
Choose media type: Video, Image, Email, Social Media Post.
Click Add.
Select the URL for the site or page being promoted.
Upload your files and give them clear names.
Save.

When you update media tied to a specific link, promoters with active conversion campaigns for that link will automatically get the new files once they’re uploaded.

3️⃣ Create a Campaign
With your profile, tracking, and media ready, it’s time to launch your first campaign.
There are a few types that can be created - review the collapsable menus below to learn what they are and how to invite partners to promote you!

Discoverable Campaign
A Discoverable Campaign makes it easy for your business to get promoted by others—without having to reach out or manage partners yourself.
When you create one, your business appears in the Discover tab, where Earners can find, promote, and get paid to share your offers.
When you launch a discoverable campaign, you’re giving partners everything they need to start promoting your products or services: your conversion link, media (images, videos, or social posts), and direction.
Direct-Invitation Campaign
A Direct-Invitation Campaign is a private partnership between you and a specific promoter. With this type of campaign, you’re directly inviting a partner to promote your business using agreed terms and pricing.
Lead vs. Conversion Campaigns
Each campaign—whether Discoverable or Direct—pays partners for one of two things:
Lead Campaigns: Pay partners for leads sent through your comarketing form.
Conversion Campaigns: Pay partners for tracked actions on your site, like clicks, appointments, or sales.
Every campaign falls into one of each category.
For example:
A Direct Lead Campaign pays a known partner for client leads.
A Discoverable Conversion Campaign lets new Earners find and promote your offer online.

If you have an existing partner or specific promoter in mind→ use direct invites.
If you want to grow your reach and attract new promoters → create a Discoverable Campaign.

Start a new campaign (from campaigns, discover, or dashboard)
(Optional) Send bulk invites or make your campaign Discoverable
Enter your partner’s details
Fill in their name and email, and choose which verified site they’ll be promoting. **If your site does not appear, return to Step 1.**Select your fee split (how strpie + comarketing will be split between you & your partner.)
Set your pricing: Enter price per conversion & (optional) monthly budget.
Choose one of the conversion objectives you set up earlier.
This defines what counts as a conversion (e.g., lead, appointment)
The corresponding page/path will autofill based on your setup.

⚠️ NOTE: If you've already set this page up in the Tracking tab, this field should autofill.
Send your campaign invitation
Wait for acceptance
Your campaign will show as pending until your partner accepts the invite. They can search for an email from notifications@comarketing.com
Once the campaign is live and accepted, conversions will begin tracking automatically.
