Create and Manage Demerit Codes

Create and configure the demerit codes your school tracks, including visibility settings and reset dates.

Guided Walkthrough:

STEP 1- Click Tracking in the left sidebar menu.

STEP 2- Click Demerit Master.

STEP 3- The Demerit Master shows every demerit code your school is tracking. You can see the code, description, points, visibility and any reset dates already configured.

STEP 4- To add a new demerit, start by assigning it a unique code.

STEP 5- Add the full name of the behavior as the description, assign points, and sort order. Than click Add.

STEP 6- The "Visible" dropdown controls which codes staff can select. Codes set to "No" won't appear as an option for teachers.

STEP 7- The "Reset Date" field lets you set a date when the demerit count resets, such as the start of a new grading period.

STEP 8- Click the green Save button after making any changes to an existing code row.

Click the red Delete button to remove it entirely from ConciergePad.

STEP 9- Click Behavior Rules button to view and edit the actions of each logged behavior.
