Content Management and Design Management are related through annotations. When you upload a file to Content Management, you can preview it directly in ConCntric.

On top of the preview window, you can sign the document, insert text, insert shapes, and add annotations. When you create these annotations, they will appear in the annotations panel.

This annotation can be linked to work and bid packages, VO items, risks and Design Items. To link it, select the annotation, click Link, then select the item you want to link it to.

Once linked, this connection will appear in the "Linked Entities" panel, where you can unlink it if needed, or get a preview of the design item.

In the Design Management solution, you have the Unassigned Annotations tab where you can see a list of all annotations created in the Content Management solution. You can search annotations using the search bar, or filter by author. When you click on a document annotation, you will be redirected to the Content Management solution where you can assign this annotation to a design item, or any other item within ConCntric.
