How do I close my account?

The following article describes the steps to redeem your investment and close your investor account.

Want to close your account? We're sad to see you go!

Closing your account includes a four-step process:

Step 1: Redeem Shares and Withdraw Investment Balance

Step 2: Delete Auto Invest Schedule

Step 3: Redemption Transaction & Funds Transfer

Step 4: Deactivate Investor Account

Step 1: Redeem Shares and Withdraw Investment Balance

  1. Tap the Account Info icon in the upper-left corner of the app.

  2. Next, select Schedule Withdrawal.

  3. Review the information regarding the withdrawal process, then tap Continue With Withdrawal, or Cancel Withdrawal if you change your mind.

  4. Determine the amount you would like to withdraw.*

    *Please note that in order to remain compliant with anti-money laundering policies and to prevent fraud, we typically do not allow investors to withdraw within 60 days. This may impact the amount you are able to withdraw.

5. Tap Review.

6. Review the withdrawal request, then Slide to confirm. If you want to edit the request tap the back arrow. If you want to cancel the request, tap Cancel to cancel the request and return to the Dashboard.

Step 2: Delete Auto Invest Schedule

To stop recurring investments, you'll need to cancel any existing Auto Invest schedules you currently have set up. To cancel the schedule, follow the steps below:

  1. Tap Auto Invest in the dashboard of the app.

  2. Swipe left and drag the schedule you want to cancel.

  3. Tap on the red 🗑 icon to delete.

  4. Tap Delete to confirm and remove this auto-invest schedule.

Step 3: Redemption Transaction & Funds Transfer

The redemption transaction and funds transfer can take up to two weeks from the time the redemption is approved to when you receive the investment funds in your source funding account.

Concreit converts your shares into cash and transfers those funds from our Concreit account to your source funding account. The source funding account is quite simply, the account you transferred the funds from when initially invested (e.g., bank account, etc.).

Step 4: Deactivate Investor Account

You’ll be notified via email and in Concreit once the fund transfer is complete and you’ve successfully withdrawn your shares. After confirming receipt of investment funds, follow the steps below in Concreit to close your account.

At the end of the process, your login credentials are available for future use to reopen your account.

  1. Tap the Account Info icon in the top left corner

  2. Select Account Information

  3. Tap Deactivate Account
