The system’s patient document exchange platform has achieved Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC-HIT) 2014 Edition Modular Certification via Drummond Group LLC. This certification designates that the system, connected by Kno2, offers the functionality that enables eligible providers and hospitals to meet Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use requirements, qualifying these organizations to receive payments under the ongoing EHR adoption program. Certification for Kno2 was achieved June 18, 2015.
How Was The System Certified?
To earn certification, the system was tested to be in accordance with applicable standards and certification criteria put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The specific tests for which the system has been certified include:

How to Attest for Meaningful Use with The System
If your organization or providers will be attesting for Meaningful Use, the system has provided a numerator Direct messaging transaction report and displays the Kno2 version, which may be required for the modules you’ll be certifying. The following details where to pull the transaction report from and where to find the Kno2 version information.
Activity Report
The Activity Report has been made available through the administrator’s Dashboard in the system, under the Recent Activity section. This report will show all message activity (for any enabled Document Source) for your organization during the specified time frame.
Simply select the Activity Report icon on the far right, enter the start and end dates for your report and select Download Report.

Version
We have displayed the Kno2 Version information for you in the Support Center, under the About section.
Select the “?” for the Support Center in the upper right-hand corner of the system. The About section, listing the Kno2 version, will be in the lower right-hand corner of the page. Take a screen capture of this page to include the Kno2 version as part of your attestation as needed.
