Managing licences and devices

On the Add-On Management page you will administer licenses for device clients and other add-on applications that are "Direct-enabled" using the system technology. These device clients or applications will require a license for use with the system.

Common devices, such as document scanners, multi-function devices (fax/print/scan/copy units), fax technology and others can now be transformed to send messages (same as Direct messages) or a fax through the systems technology. In addition, applications may be licensed as well. All enabled devices and applications must be licensed through the system to connect and send a message or fax.

Product licenses are managed through your organization. Device clients and applications must be registered and associated with the organization that will be responsible for managing and licensing the use of the system with the device or application. The administrator for the organization may activate specific devices and applications by attaching a valid license.
