Microsoft Teams: Quick Start Guide

Get your team recording, downloading, and uploading to Contented in 30 minutes

Updated this week

The Problem

By default, Microsoft Teams makes it nearly impossible for teams to easily access meeting recordings and transcripts. Only meeting organisers can download recordings, and transcription isn't enabled organisation-wide. This creates bottlenecks when teams want to use Contented to analyse their conversations.

What You'll Achieve

After this 30-minute setup, anyone on your team will be able to:

  • βœ… Record any Teams channel meeting (not just organisers)

  • βœ… Download recordings from team meetings

  • βœ… Access transcripts multiple ways

  • βœ… Upload content to Contented seamlessly
