Choosing Your Upload Method
Click the "Upload Conversation" button on the left-hand menu. A pop-up window appears with four options: "Audio or Video File," "Recording from Mobile," "Insert Transcript," and "Record in Workspace."
Choose the option that suits your recording source. We'll focus on uploading an audio/video file for this guide. This flexibility allows you to use Contented with recordings from various sources, whether it's a Zoom meeting, a phone call, or even a voice memo.
Uploading Your File
After selecting "Audio or Video File," you can drag and drop your file or click "Browse Files" to select it from your computer. Contented supports common audio/video formats (MP4, M4A, MP3) with a maximum file size of 500MB.
The Processing Magic
Once uploaded, Contented transcribes and summarises your conversation. A progress bar tracks the upload, transcription, and summarisation stages.
Post-Processing: Refining Your Conversation
After processing, you're prompted to choose between two options:
Edit speakers and entities. This crucial step ensures accuracy and maximises the value of your insights.
Or, create content straight away. You can still great magic, from an unedited conversation too.
Naming Your Speakers
Click the "Speakers" icon. You'll see generic speaker labels (Speaker A, Speaker B). Click each label and enter the correct names. This seemingly small step makes a huge difference in clarity and allows you to easily follow who said what in the transcript and other outputs.
Adding Attendees for Context
Click the "Attendees" icon. Add everyone present, even non-speakers, for richer context. Add them manually, use a saved group, or select a group and edit individual details.
Adding job titles and pronouns helps Contented personalise outputs and provides a more complete picture of the conversation. For example, knowing someone's role can help Contented better understand the context from where you're speaking.
Reviewing and Editing Entities
Click the "Entities" icon. Review and correct automatically identified names, companies, and locations. This refinement ensures accuracy and helps Contented understand the nuances of your discussion. For instance, correcting a misspelled product name ensures it's accurately reflected in your key metrics and summaries.
Setting Your Privacy Preferences
The "Private" icon controls conversation access. Toggle "Share to workspace" ON for shared access or OFF for private viewing. This feature is essential for managing sensitive information and ensuring confidentiality when needed.

Get concise or detailed summaries of discussion points and action items. The concise summary is perfect for quick recaps, while the detailed summary provides a more comprehensive overview.
Action Table
Track tasks, due dates, and owners. Download as a CSV for integration with other tools. This feature is invaluable for project management and follow-up.
Deep Dive
Focus on specific topics with additional instructions. For example, you can ask Contented to summarise a particular section of the conversation or generate an email to absent team members summarising key takeaways. This targeted approach allows you to extract precisely the information you need.
Other Powerful Outputs
Decision Log, SWOT Analysis, Key Metrics, Q&A, References, Client Profile, Musing, Risk Matrix: These specialised outputs cater to various needs, from strategic planning to risk assessment, providing a comprehensive toolkit for analysing your conversations. For instance, the Risk Matrix is based on best-practice automatically identifies and prioritises potential risks discussed, saving you time and providing valuable insights for decision-making.
Downloading Your Outputs
Click "Download Outputs." Choose your file type (Word or PDF) and select the outputs you need.
