This guide will show you how to use the Asset page for a asset you searched for in CONXTD.
Accessing the Asset page
An Asset page displays all data related to specific asset that is assocatied to a site in CONXTD. You can access asset data either via searching for the asset in the Asset Index, or by using Service Desk to view all assets associated to a site.
Viewing asset information in CONXTD
Title section
The name of the asset, along with meta data like the created and last modified date for the asset, will display in the main title section.
Core asset data
The core asset identification data will be displayed here, this includes all default asset fields like Asset Tag or Manufacturer for example.
Maintenance Scheduler
We are working on a dynamic maintenance scheduler that allows users to define the next maintenance date, and create notifications and performance indicators based on it. For now, you can provide a static date in this field.
Custom Fields
The custom fields you define for the Category - eg. you created Bandwidth or Megapixel specifically for your Camera category - will be displayed separatly.
Asset Linking
We are working on creating a feature where users can link associated assets together for easier access. A great example is to link all the Cameras to the relevant NVR or DVR, allowing for easier access and viewing of a camera network on site.
