Updated over a week ago

CopeCart offers you the possibility to easily upload your digital products to your product. This means that you no longer need to integrate a separate data store for your customers to receive your products.

Digital product

If you are creating a digital product, you can add the files directly to your product edit page.

If you want to upload a file for an e-book, please read the article about e-book files.

From now on, you can upload files to CopeCart when creating a digital product. This means that you no longer need to integrate a separate data store for your customers to receive your products.

To provide a file for a digital product, go to the product edit page, select the Download Product section and upload a file in any supported format:

After that, you should specify how long the buyer will be able to download your product after the purchase. You can also limit the number of downloads (three downloads is the minimum required).

Restrictions

  • Only one file can be uploaded per product

If you want to upload multiple files, compress them into one ZIP file and upload it.

  • The maximum file size is 5 GB

  • Customers will get access to the file after successful completion of the order, even if the payment status is pending.

  • When the number of downloads reaches the specified maximum number, access to the file is no longer possible.
