After creating your account with CopeCart, validating your identity to establish and maintain a smooth commercial relationship is essential, ensuring timely receipt of your payouts. This is done through our Know Your Client (KYC) Verification, which serves to authenticate the user's legitimacy and guarantee the authenticity of business transactions without fraudulent intent. Upon logging into CopeCart, you'll be prompted to undergo the KYC verification to secure your payouts.

We recommend initiating this validation promptly, as the verification may take some time. Starting early can offer you a swift and seamless experience.

To complete your KYC verification, log into your account and check for notification under the 'activity' tab.

If you do not find the notification, navigate to 'settings; on the bottom left tab, select 'account settings and enter the required details, including your email address.

First, you must add your address, tax scheme, and bank details to receive payouts. Add your address and select your tax scheme in the Profile Information section.

Now, you can add your bank details in the Payment Account section. If you have a US bank account, please select ACH transfer. For any other kind of bank account, please select Wire transfer.

Please ensure you have accurately entered all necessary information and then click the "Save changes" button at the top right. Please add your account details and email address. Additionally, you can customize your payment frequency and minimum payout amount from here. Double-check that all data entered is correct before clicking on the green "Save changes" button in the top right corner of your account.

Next, click the "Start Verification Now" button, read the pop-up message and proceed with the verification:

You’ll need to upload some documents to complete the validation:

  • ID: Please scan your ID for both (front and back) in PDF format.

  • Proof of address: a recent proof of personal or business address (bank statement, utility bill, etc.)

  • Trade office document: Do you have a business? If not, you may skip these requirements. Please upload a PDF of your organization’s business license if you have a business.

  • Tax form: We require some basic tax information to complete your registration with CopeCart. This applies to all Vendors, Affiliates, businesses, and sole proprietors.:

  • If you are a US Citizen, resident of the United States, or business within the United States (including territories), you must complete IRS Form W9.

  • If you are not an American citizen, not a resident of the United States, and your business is conducted outside the United States, you must complete IRS Form W-8BEN.

Please ensure that none of your documents is expired, blurred, or illegible.

Your submission will be reviewed within 48 business hours, and we'll email you the status of your account validation.

Minors: You must be of legal age to successfully validate your account with CopeCart.

Important: if all the steps have been completed and all the necessary documents have been provided, one will still encounter a validation notification within their account. This is a normal occurrence and will remain so until our team has successfully verified the account.

How long does the validation take?

The verification process conducted by CopeCart consists of a meticulous review of your submitted documents and information to ensure they meet the requisite criteria.

Should any of your documents be incorrect, illegible, or missing, we will contact you to solicit these documents from you directly. It is important to be aware that the validation process does not occur immediately and may take a certain length to complete.

Upon successful verification of a new user by our support team, your account will be validated, thus enabling you to receive your payouts.

The validation process does not start/ I cannot upload a selfie/ my camera does not work.

Some CopeCart members may not be able to validate on their devices. We ask you to rerun the validation on another device. Please clear your cache and use another browser if you still can't start the validation. Open an incognito window and start the validation.
