Klaviyo Overview

Klaviyo is a powerful email and SMS marketing platform designed for eCommerce. It allows you to create highly personalized, behavior-based email flows with easy-to-use templates.

Create a Klaviyo Account and Connect to Corksy

  1. Visit Klaviyo and set up an account:

    1. Go to klaviyo.com and click on "Sign Up Free".

    2. Sign Up:

      1. Enter your email, company name, and password

      2. Click "Create Account".

    3. Verify Account:

      1. Check your email for a verification link and activate your account.

  2. Set up your account:

    1. Provide details like your store URL and industry.

  3. Generate API Key:

    1. Go to "Account Settings" <> "API Keys" and create a public or private API key to integrate with Klaviyo.

  4. Connect to Corksy:

    1. Log into admin.corksy.io.

    2. Go to Settings <> Email Marketing.

    3. Click "Connect Account" for Klaviyo.

    4. Add the API key from Step 3.

    5. Map customer data and preferences between Corksy and Klaviyo.

    6. Save the changes to activate the connection.

  5. Test the integration:

    1. Send a test email from Corksy to ensure the integration is working correctly.


How Klaviyo Works with Corksy

  • Klaviyo automatically de-duplicates contacts by email.

  • Updates in Corksy will not sync automatically. You’ll need to either push an updated native segment or export the data from Corksy and import it into Klaviyo to reflect the changes.

  • Klaviyo uses one master list to keep contacts organized.
