Segments are used to organise contacts or email subscribers on your CCK website.

Create Contact Segments

You can create a contact segment by opening your Contact section and selecting + Add Filter. Next, select your criteria or filters and select Save Segment.

A segment of contacts can consist of multiple filters or criteria such as Member Groups, Tags or purchase date.

Once you created a contact segment, you will be asked to give it a name.

Your contact segments will be shown on the left-hand side of your Contact area under All Contacts. You can delete a segment by hovering over the segment name and selecting the cross on the right.

Create Email Subscriber Segments

Email subscriber segments allow you to email contacts with specific tags or criteria. Contact segments (as created in the previous step) are not shown under email subscriber segments - you have to create new email subscriber segments.

To create a new email subscriber segment, open Emails & Automations and select Lists & Subscribers on the left. Click on + Add Filter at the top and select your criteria for your segment.

Once your criteria have been selected, you can select: Save As New Segment.

Your email segments are shown under the Segments tab as shown below.
