When running lead ads you need to send your lead from Facebook to your CCK Website. Due to the fact that there is no native integration with leads ads to CCK, you will need to use software to achieve this. The software we recommend you use for this purpose is called Zapier.
To connect your Facebook account to Zapier and your CCK website, you need to do sign up for a Zapier account and also join the CCK Zapier app.
π Important: your Zapier account needs to be a trial account or an active Zapier account on the Starter plan, with the ability to build premium, multi-step Zaps.
3. Create a new Zap:
Under the Setup section, complete the following details:
Your top trigger App should be Facebook Lead Ads.
The Trigger event is a New lead.
Log into your Facebook account.
Click Continue if you are happy with everything shown as per below:
Under the Configure section, you need to select your Facebook Business page and the Lead Form you created in Facebook.
Click Continue if you are happy with everything shown as per below:
Under the Test section, click Test trigger as shown below:
If Zapier provides you with a record, select this record and click Continue with selected record as shown below:
Next, search for the invite-only WebConnect (1.0.3) app:
Next, select Action event as Create Contact.
Under Account, you need to add your CCK website's API Key:
To locate your CCK API key, log into your CCK website builder dashboard here.
Click on the Settings gear > Applications > Reveal API Key.
Paste your API key into the Zapier pop-up screen (you might find this hidden behind your other browser screens).
Click Yes, Continue to WebConnect (1.0.3).
Make sure your CCK Account is selected in Zapier.
Click Continue:
Under Configure, connect your lead ad fields to your Zapier fields. Click the + icon and connect the following fields:
Email - select Email: test@fb.com
Name - select First Name: test lead
Scroll down and add the exact tag (use same spelling, spacing and case) as shown on your Freebie opt-in pop-up form. Alternatively, open the email automation where your freebie is delivered and view the trigger tag used - this is the exact same tag you should add here.
Scroll down to see images on how to locate this tag.
Set Accept Terms and Approved as True.
To find the tag on your CCK website, log into your CCK builder here.
Open your freebie funnel pop-up form and click on the settings gear. Scroll all the way down on the settings form to see your tag. Type this exact tag into Zapier, use the same case, spacing and spelling.
π If you also have your newsletter tag added here, you can ignore this. Do not add this to Zapier; only add your freebie tag.
You can also find this tag when you open Messaging & Workflows > freebie delivery email automation > open the automation trigger section as shown below:
Go back to Zapier and scroll down to select your main subscriber list on CCK.
Click Continue.
Review the final details shown and click Test step.
As a final step, rename your Zap to something you will easily recognise by clicking on the name at the top > Rename.
Click Publish to set your Zap live.
Confirm that you can see the test contact with the correct tag under your Contacts module.
This confirms that your Zapier Zap is working and setup correctly.
