Link Facebook Lead Ads to CCK with Zapier

For this process to work, you need to have a Facebook Lead Ad created and published once, you can then set the ad to Draft immediately after publishing. This will allow Zapier to pick up the Lead ad and then allow you to create your Zap.

📌 Important: your Zapier account needs to be a trial account or an active Zapier account on the Starter plan, with the ability to build premium, multi-step Zaps.

Finally, you also need to join the private CCK Zapier application called WebConnect.

Follow the following steps to get started:

1. Create your Facebook Lead ad and publish your ad, you can then immediately set the ad as a draft. This is important - if your ad is not published at least once, you will not be able to view this in Zapier and set up your Zap. Click here to learn how to create and launch your first Facebook lead ad.

2. Join the private invite-only CCK Zapier application. Click here to join the CCK Zapier application called WebConnect and sign up for a 14-day trial of Zapier or start on the Zapier starter plan with the ability to build multi-step zaps.

3. Create a new Facebook Lead Ad Zap - see the process below.

Create a Facebook lead ad Zap in Zapier

Accounts and permissions required to set up this Zap:

  • Facebook page with admin access

  • Facebook ad account with admin access to the associated FB ad account

  • Leads Access

  • Private CCK Zapier application called WebConnect

Click on + Create Zap

Type Facebook Lead Ads in the search bar and select the Facebook Lead Ads Trigger

Type New Lead in the Event search bar and select New Lead as the event and click continue

If you have already granted access and permissions for Zapier to your Facebook Page and Lead Ads account, select the relevant account

Select the form that you have set up on the Facebook Ad Centre

Once you have selected the page and form, click continue

You will then have the option to test the trigger you have just added

Zapier would then create a test lead as shown below and click continue

Next, you need to set up the action for your Zap. If you haven't connected to the private Invite-only Zapier application called WebConnect, click here to do so.

Select WebConnect as the action application

Set Create Contact as the Event and click continue

Select your WebConnect account, it will include your website name if set up correctly

When setting up the Action settings, set up the email, name, tags and subscriber list on this section

The tags to set up will allow you to find these contacts on your CCK account and also send the lead magnet to your new contact from Facebook.

We have created the tag FBLeadAd, this will be added to your new contact on your CCK account. We also added a Trigger tag here as we have set up this trigger in our automation on CCK when someone signs up for the Freebie, in this example we used Trigger: [Lead Magnet Name]

Next, you need to set up the list where your new contact will be added and automatically subscribed to your list. Here we added them to our Master List as we always recommend only having one list, then click continue.

You will then have the option to test the action, which we highly recommend.

After Zapier sent the contact to your CCK account, you will see the contact has been subscribed, the tags were added and they have been added to the specified list.

When you have set up and tested your Zap, you need to Publish your Zap and also rename your Zap to what makes sense as Zapier names newly created Zaps as Untitled Zap by default.
