Edit Image

An image widget can be added to a page or block by using the Image Widget from the widget menu.

Click and drag on the widget to the location you would like to add an image.

After adding the image widget, you will have the option to add an image added to your CCK website under Website Settings - File Manager. You can also add the image straight from the image widget by clicking on +Upload a file. Select your image and click Select

Under the Image Widget settings, you have the option to:

Stretch an image to fill the space

Add an image description

Add shadows to the image

Add an image caption

The image caption option offers many different styling settings such as where and how the caption is displayed, text styling and shadow options for the image caption.

Image Links

To add a link to your image, simply clock on the link icon in the editor menu as shown below and select the page you would like to link to or add an external link from outside your CCK websites and funnels.

Here there are two styling options

  • Open image in a Lightbox (the image will open in a popup)

  • Open link on click (the URL added as the link will open up in the same browser tab or a new browser tab depending on the settings applied)

Differences Between Block & Column Background Images and the Image Widget

Adding an image to a column replaces the colour of the background. We recommend only using this feature for styling purposes and should not be used as a replacement for the image widget as this option does not allow you to edit the image or add links etc.
