Introduction
The Video Playlist widget makes organising and displaying your course or training videos on your CCK website easy.
Whether you prefer a sidebar view or a grid layout, this guide will walk you through adding the widget, uploading your videos, and customising the settings to create an engaging experience for your learners.
IMPORTANT: This widget only works with videos hosted on your CCK account. It does not support YouTube, Vimeo, or other external video platforms.

Changes are reflected instantly on the page.
Step 3: Choose a Layout – Sidebar or Grid
You can display your videos in one of two formats:
Playlist with Sidebar
Shows the main video on the left and the playlist on the right.
Displays video title, duration, views, and allows viewers to click between videos.
Includes a comment section (positioned below or beside the video).
Grid View
Displays videos in a grid layout, with 2–6 videos per row.
Offers two grid styles:
Style 1: Clean layout.
Style 2: Adds a border and shadow effect.
Note: Some settings, such as “Pause on lost focus”, are only available in sidebar mode.
Step 4: Customise Viewer Settings
Playback Controls
Autoplay: Starts the video automatically when loaded.
Pause on lost focus: Stops playback if the viewer clicks away (sidebar only).
Remove controls: Hides all video controls; users must watch the video entirely.

Choose where comments appear- below or beside the video.
Completion Tracking

Auto mark as watched: The System automatically marks videos as complete after viewing.
Display Options
Toggle the following settings on or off:
Video title
Video description
Video views
In-play view count (shown on the video thumbnail)
Step 5: Add Categories for Filtering
Organise your videos by category so users can filter the playlist.
Open the video settings for any video in the playlist.
Could you assign it to an existing category or create a new one?
Enable category filtering in the widget settings.
The filter menu will appear at the top of the widget.
This is helpful for more extended video libraries or structured course content.
Step 6: Optional – Enable Dark Theme
Turning on Dark Theme removes video descriptions and applies a minimal layout style, which is ideal for distraction-free viewing.
Summary
The Video Playlist widget gives you complete control over how your training or course content is presented.
By hosting your videos on CCK and using the playlist features, you can guide your learners through structured video lessons while tracking progress and encouraging engagement.
